Privacy Policy

Macromancy records and replays taps on your own device. It has no internet permission, no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. Nothing you make in it is sent to us, because there is nowhere for it to be sent.

Effective

The short version

  • No personal or sensitive data is collected, transmitted or shared.
  • The app does not request the INTERNET permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere — to us or to anyone else.
  • No accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no third-party SDKs.
  • Your macros, triggers and settings are saved in the app's private storage on your phone.
  • Screen frames used to check a trigger are compared in memory and discarded. They are never recorded to a file and never leave the device.
  • Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored.

Section 01Who this policy applies to

This policy covers the Android application Macromancy (package com.macromancy.scanautoclicker), published by Sublimitlessstudio, and every feature inside it. It does not cover the other apps on your device that Macromancy taps for you — those have their own policies — and it does not cover Google Play itself, which collects its own data as the distributor of the app under Google's Privacy Policy.

Section 02Data we collect

None. Macromancy collects no personal information, no usage statistics, no crash telemetry, no device identifiers, no location, no contacts, no messages, no photos and no account information. There is no server behind this app, and no data is transmitted off your device by it.

Specifically, the app does not:

  • ask you to create an account or sign in;
  • include any advertising, attribution or analytics library;
  • read the text, passwords or messages shown in other apps;
  • log keystrokes;
  • sell, rent or share any information — it holds nothing to share.

Section 03What the app accesses on your device, and why

Macromancy needs a small number of Android capabilities to do its job. Each one is granted by you, is explained inside the app before it is requested, and can be withdrawn at any time in Android's own settings.

Stays on the device. Touch positions become steps in your macro; the package name is used to pick a group, and is stored only if you bind a group to that app.
Screen captureMediaProjection The pixels currently on your screen, while you have a capture running. To check whether the color, area or picture you asked a trigger to watch is on screen right now. Frames are compared in memory and immediately discarded. They are not saved, not uploaded and not shown to anyone. The one exception is described in section 4.
Display over other apps Nothing. It draws, it does not read. The floating button, the trigger sheet and the point and box pickers sit on top of the app you are automating. Nowhere.
Notifications Nothing. Android requires an ongoing notification while the service runs, and it carries the stop and trigger controls. Nowhere.

Macromancy declares exactly four permissions in its manifest: SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW, FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION and POST_NOTIFICATIONS. It does not declare INTERNET.

Section 04What is stored on your device

Everything below is written to Macromancy's private internal storage, readable only by the app itself:

  • Your macros, triggers, groups and settings, saved automatically after each change, plus any named profiles you save yourself. These contain the coordinates, colors, timings and names you created, and the package name of an app if you bound a group to it.
  • Snapshot images. If you create a "picture in a box" trigger, the app stores a copy of the small screen region you drew, so it can look for that picture again later. That image is a picture of whatever was inside the box you selected, so choose the region with the same care you would use for a screenshot. It is stored on your device only, it is deleted when you delete the trigger, and it is never transmitted.

Section 05Backup

Macromancy allows Android's own backup service. If you have backup switched on for your device, Android may copy the app's stored data — your macros, triggers, profiles and any snapshot images — to your personal Google account, in the same way it backs up your other apps. This is a Google service, encrypted with your device credentials; the developer of Macromancy has no access to it and receives nothing from it.

If you would rather that did not happen, turn it off in Settings › Google › Backup, or exclude the app there. Nothing else in Macromancy ever copies your data off the device.

Section 06Sharing

No data is shared with third parties, service providers, advertisers, data brokers or anyone else. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting components. No information is sold, and none would be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, because none is held.

Section 07Security

Your data stays in the app's private storage, which Android isolates from other applications. There is no transmission to secure, no server to breach and no account credentials to lose. Protection of the data therefore rests on the security of your device: a screen lock and current Android updates are the meaningful safeguards.

Section 08Keeping and deleting your data

Data is kept on your device for as long as you keep it. You control all of it:

  • Delete an individual macro, trigger, group or profile inside the app.
  • Clear everything at once with Settings › Apps › Macromancy › Storage › Clear storage.
  • Uninstall the app, which removes all of its stored data from the device.
  • Withdraw any permission at any time — the accessibility service in Settings › Accessibility › Macromancy input, screen capture from the cast indicator in the status bar or the app's own stop control.

Because nothing is sent to us, there is no server-side copy to delete and no data deletion request to make. If you have a question about this, write to the address in section 11.

Section 09Children

Macromancy is a general-purpose utility. It is not directed to children, and it is not designed for or targeted at anyone under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Section 10Changes to this policy

If the app's handling of data changes — for example if a future version adds a network feature — this policy will be updated before that version is released, the effective date at the top will change, and the change will be described here. Continuing to use the app after an update means the revised policy applies to you.
